Standard Conditions of Carriage
All consignments accepted by Namma Courier are subject to the standard conditions of carriage applicable to courier and logistics services. Booking of a shipment implies unconditional acceptance of these terms.
Applicability to All Carriage
These Terms & Conditions apply to all types of carriage, including documents, parcels, packets, samples, and commercial or non-commercial consignments, irrespective of mode of transport.
Weight Charges (Actual or Volumetric)
Freight charges shall be calculated based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher, as per courier industry standards and carrier norms.
Remote Area, Return, Loss & Damage Policy
Delivery to remote or non-serviceable areas, return of shipments, loss, delay, or damage shall be governed strictly as per the respective carrier’s policy.
Maximum liability of Namma Courier is limited to Rs. 100 only, under any circumstances, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
Maximum Compensation Clause
Maximum compensation payable for any claim, under any circumstance, shall not exceed USD 100 or equivalent INR, irrespective of the value of the contents.
The final decision regarding compensation shall be at the sole discretion of the vendor/carrier, and such decision shall be final and binding on the customer.
Maximum Invoice / Customs Value Limit
The maximum invoice value accepted per consignment is Rs. 25,000, as per courier and customs regulations. Shipments exceeding this value will not be accepted.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipment does not contain prohibited, restricted, or illegal items as per applicable laws, courier rules, and government regulations.
Customer Responsibility
Customers must read, verify, and comply with:
Destination country/state regulations
Customs rules and local delivery laws
Accurate declaration of consignee details, address, and shipment contents
Namma Courier shall not be responsible for delays, penalties, confiscation, or non-delivery due to non-compliance.
Jurisdiction
All disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of carriage by Namma Courier shall be subject to jurisdiction within Chennai City only.
